Anyway, I've noticed a distressing lack of decent personal home pages dedicated to this particular genre. I've spent more sleepless hours than I care to admit to sitting in front of the computer staring at page after page of search engine results, all looking for something entertaining. I invariably got bored and went to bed. What else was I supposed to do at three o'clock in the morning? *shrugs*
So here I am, trying to rectify the situation a little bit if I can. Don't get me wrong, I've got no illusions whatsoever of becoming the person to right all the wrongs. I hope I can do a decent job, but doubt that my efforts will be much more than that. If nothing more, my code will be decent and that's a definite start in the right direction. One other thing that will be a great help is your contributions, so please give it some thought and help if you can.
At the moment, I'm linking to several other sites belonging to large companies with greater income than I would hope to have, but somehow I don't think they mind the free advertising. *winks broadly* Also, I'll put a link to a couple other places that aren't such big companies. Still, they're worth the few minutes it takes to look them up. In time, I'm going to have information for at least AD&D and hopefully the World of Darkness, too. By that time, I'm not going to bother putting the little symbols, but no one should mind.
My plans right now include character information, la the Rogue's Gallery from Dragon Magazine and possible campaign ideas as per Dungeon Magazine. Hopefully I'll get a list of character information compiled for the WoD and Chronicle ideas, but no promises right away. I also am putting a "Portable Refrence Guide" that will explain terms you may not be familiar with and list magical items/artifacts that are discussed here, or just given as an entry for your refrence. It's what refrence guides are for, non?
I have also just put in place a FFRPG Java Chat Room, which is open to all for the purpose of role-playing only, please. Click here to enter.
So now for the list
TSR, Inc is the company most responsible for this page. I've been playing their games for more years than I really remember well, and I've enjoyed every minute of it
White Wolf Games Studio is also quite a little bit responsible for my getting around to writing this. I've enjoyed their games Since the tail end of '97, and probably will for a long time
The Camarilla is in charge of LARP events for White Wolf...It's the offical fan club, so I guess it makes sense, hm?
