Blind Faith

The things I cannot see
Are what haunt me the most
Each trembling step I take
Shadowed by your ghost
Unrelenting torment follows
Me, my unwitting host

I know well the Mother's Circle
But give yet thanks I am blind
And hope that not seeing will
Ease the pain in my side
I wish to look for you,
But fear what I will find

So I continue to avert my eyes
From the emptiness beside me
Looking, instead, forward and
Wishing the Lady would allow me
To glimpse a bit of the future
Of being reconciled with thee
